MEASURE 37 UPHELD

The Oregon Supreme Court just unanimously upheld Measure 37, the Oregon state landowner compensation law, overturning the Marion County judge's decision to the contrary from last Fall.

The game is permanently changed now, and we'll see how the State decides (?) how it wants to fund Governor Kulongoski's policy of jurisdictions compensating land owners rather than relaxing planning regulations.

Score one for private property rights and individual liberty!
