Who we should really have in charge of immigration enforcement:

As most of us probably recall, back in late December of 2003, the media got all hot n’ bothered about the Food & Drug Administration’s detection of the United States’ first case of Mad Cow disease, discovered from a Holstein in Washington State. For some of us completely rational people, this was great news. Living in Washington State at the time, I got a ten pound Christmas roast for next to nothing, but that’s beside the point. Shortly after the detection, the FDA rather competently tracked where the cow came from (Canada), where the slaughtered meat had gone (two processing plants within the state), and where the offspring were now located (Sunnyside, WA)!

This week a terrorist attack on Fort Dix, New Jersey was foiled by a Circuit City Employee. The alleged terrorists were smuggled into the country through Mexico. At the same time, an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants are living in the United States. The Department of Homeland Security has no clue who they are, where they are, or what to do about it. I say we should just give them all a cow.
