LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER WINNER
Tri-Met has released its preliminary numbers on the Milwaukie light rail extension. As far as I can tell, their own numbers anticipate a capital cost of $117,000 per incremental new rider. This seems a bit steep, and likely to go higher based on historical experience. I'd start riding the bus for only $100k, saving the tax payer significantly.
